Completing an exchange transaction to Brazil takes up to 2 business days. Holidays and weekends may impact this timeframe.
If you have already waited until the end of the timeframe and the amount has not yet arrived in your Brazilian account, it is important to check some information:
- Check if the amount appears in the Balance in reais on the app's home screen.
When we try to send the amount and cannot, usually due to some inconsistency in the information provided, the amount in Reais is made available in your balance, so you can withdraw it to a Brazilian account of your ownership by giving new bank details.
Remember! The checking account must be in the same ownership as the Nomad account. It is not possible to make this transaction to third-party accounts or corporate accounts.
- Check the transaction status: go to Transfer money > Exchange history to Brazil.
Please note that the "completed" status that appears on your statement means that the amount has left your Nomad account. It may still be in the process of being transferred to your Brazilian checking account. The amount can be deposited into your Brazilian account by the end of the second business day.
