There are a few reasons why the QR code reading to activate the Nomad Chip may not work. Below are some instructions that may help you:
- Check if your phone is compatible with eSIMs by accessing our updated list in the app.
- Scan the code from the settings menu, not from the phone's camera.
- Make sure your device is connected to Wi-Fi, as installing the eSIM requires a connection.
- If the QR code does not work, try setting up the eSIM manually using the reference numbers sent by email and available on the SIM card data page in the Nomad app.
- Check if the eSIM has already been installed previously. Remember that the QR code can only be scanned once.
