Can I sell a Bond before maturity?

Yes, you can sell your Bonds before maturity. However, it’s important to understand that the amount you receive from the sale may differ from the amount you would receive if you held the bond until maturity.

This happens because the price of Bonds in the secondary market is influenced by several factors, especially changes in interest rates. When interest rates rise, Bond prices generally fall because new bonds may offer more attractive yields. On the other hand, when interest rates fall, Bond prices can increase, as existing bonds become more valuable due to their higher fixed yields.

Additionally, other factors, such as the issuer's credit quality, market conditions, and the remaining time until maturity, can also impact the sale price. It’s important to carefully assess market conditions and your financial goals before deciding to sell a Bond early.

Important! Fractional sales of shares are not permitted.
