ETFs are investments funds traded on stock exchanges as if they were stocks. When investing in an ETF, you are buying a collection of stocks or commodities. That way, you get a greater diversification and are able to access more restricted assets for a relatively lower amount.
Some ETFs are focused on sectors like technology or finance, for example, and the returns they can bring you depend on the performance of the companies in them.
