Yes, if you receive payments from foreigners in your Nomad Checking Account, it is necessary to declare them in “Carnê Leão”. Income received by a Brazilian from an international source must be declared and the recipient will have to pay income tax over such amounts under the monthly payment method known as “Carnê Leão”.
