Which institutions regulate Nomad's activities?

International checking account:

Funds in your account are insured through Community Federal Savings Bank, member FDIC for up to $250,000 per depositor, per insured bank, for each ownership category.

It is open in partnership with the investment brokerage, DriveWealth, regulated by FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority).

We are also licensed by the SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission), a US agency that licenses companies that provide investment advice.

Currency exchange transaction:

Nomad acts as a correspondent for Ouribank to carry out currency exchange transactions in the application.

The Central Bank of Brazil regulates this activity through National Monetary Council Resolution n° 4.935/2021.
