How do I send deposits from my Nomad international account to other US-based accounts?

With Nomad, you can transfer to other US bank accounts you own or to third parties.

To other accounts you own:

You can make a Wire transfer to send money to your US account at another institution. Access the app under Transfer money > To another US bank > I am the account holder.

You must fill in the following information:

  • Wire Routing Number
  • Account number
  • Account type (checking account or savings account)
  • For Further Credit (FFC) or complementary data (optional)
  • Value to be transferred

Within 3 business days, the beneficiary will have the dollars in their account.

Sending a WIRE from your Nomad account costs US$10 (ten dollars) per transaction. If the transfer is returned, Nomad will not refund the fee.

You can also do this via ACH Pull. This transfer must be initiated by the account receiving the deposit, not by Nomad.

The other institution will link both accounts through micro-deposits. You must confirm the amount of these deposits with the bank to prove that you can access both accounts. After this verification, you can initiate an ACH Debit from your account in the other institution. Nomad does not charge any fees for this transaction.

To a third-party (Natural Person):

To make ACH transfers to someone else, access your app at Transfer money > To another US bank > Another Natural Person.

You will need to fill in the following information:

  • ACH Routing Number
  • Account number
  • Account type (current or savings account)
  • For Further Credit (FFC) or complementary data (optional)
  • Full name of the account holder
  • Value to be transferred

To a third-party (business account):

To make ACH transfers to US-based business accounts, access your app at Transfer money > To another US bank > An US business.

You will need to fill in the following information:

  • ACH Routing Number
  • Account number
  • Account type (current or savings account)
  • For Further Credit (FFC) or complementary data (optional)
  • Company name (account holder)
  • Identification code (optional)
  • Value to be transferred

Within 3 business days, the beneficiary will have the dollars in their account.

Sending an ACH from your Nomad account costs US$10 (ten dollars) per transaction. If the transfer is returned, Nomad will not refund the fee.

Important! Note that some US-based banks charge fees for receiving and returning these amounts. Each institution determines this charge in its terms of use, Nomad has no responsibility or action in these charges.
