You can add money to your Investment Account in two ways: from a Brazilian account, via exchange remittance, and from your Nomad checking account.
If you want to transfer money from a Brazilian account, via exchange remittance:
Just go to "Add money", from the main menu > "In your investment account".
You will be able to quote the desired value in commercial dollars, and after confirming the quote, you will receive instructions to complete the operation.
You will have to make a TED or PIX from a Brazilian account held by you to the account indicated in the app.
The deadline for completing exchange remittances is up to 1 business day after the identification of your payment.
The minimum amount to carry out this operation is US$ 100, in addition to an IOF tax of 0.38% and a service charge of up to 2%.
Attention! Before confirming the quote, you will have access in your app to the maximum deadline for performing the TED or PIX. If the money is sent outside of this period, the exchange operation will not be completed.
It is also important to remember that, if you have more than 1 active exchange reserve of the same value in your Nomad application, when transferring to the indicated account, the oldest reserve will be prioritized for contracting the values.
If you want to transfer money from your Nomad checking account:
To send amounts from your Nomad Current Account to your Nomad Investment Account, simply access “Investments” > “Add money” and include the amount you wish to transfer. You must then confirm the transaction for processing to begin.
This transfer has no minimum amount and takes up to 3 US business days to complete.
Remembering that the amounts sent to the Investment Account are available as “Uninvested” Balance. You should direct these amounts to the investment you want.
