To sell an asset, open your app, tap on Investments, and choose from the options available in your Investment Account:
- Stocks
- ETFs
- REITs
- Treasury Bonds
- Corporate Bonds
Within these options, simply tap on the asset you wish to sell to see its updated market value and tap Sell.
Next, you will need to choose the order type, which determines how you want to sell: market or scheduled.
Market Order
Market order: the sale is made based on the current market value.
- Enter the amount or quantity you wish to sell;
- Tap Continue > Confirm Sale.
Important! Fractional sales of Bond units are not permitted.

Scheduled Order
Scheduled Order: a scheduled sale that will only be completed when the asset reaches a value equal to or greater than the price you set.
- Enter the price limit for the asset and the quantity you wish to sell;
- Tap Continue > Schedule Sale.
Scheduled sales can only be for whole quantities of assets.

After the sale is completed, the resulting amount will appear as "uninvested balance" in your Investment Account within a few minutes. Note that this amount is an advance, and the final settlement occurs in up to 1 US business day. While the settlement is processing, you can buy other assets that are different from the one you just sold. If you use the advance amount from a sale to buy another asset, you should be careful not to incur a good faith violation.
You can only transfer the funds to your Nomad International Account after the settlement is complete.
