The instant issue International Debit Card can be picked up at Nomad's physical locations by customers who do not yet have a physical International Debit Card or who have not yet received the delivery of their first physical card.
The instant issue International Debit Card is issued without the cardholder's name printed on it and can be used normally for chip or contactless purchases. If you wish to use the card to make online purchases, the cardholder's name provided must be the same as the one on your virtual debit card in the Nomad app.
Our physical locations offering the instant International Debit Card are:
- Nomad Lounge (São Paulo): at Terminal 3 of Guarulhos International Airport, near boarding gate 303. Hours of operation: every day, 24 hours a day, every day, including holidays.
- Nomad Coffee (São Paulo): at Rua Henri Dunant, 583, in Chácara Santo Antônio, South Zone. Hours of operation: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, from 7 AM to 1 PM (BRT), except on days when the US Consulate is closed.
- Bossa Nova Mall (Rio de Janeiro): Bossa Nova Mall: at Avenida Almirante Silvio de Noronha, 365, Downtown. Hours of operation: every day from 9 AM to 9 PM (BRT).
General Information
To collect the instant issue card from the machine, you must be the account holder and have a minimum balance of US$ 50 (fifty US dollars) in your Nomad International Account.
The first instant International Debit Card is free. Collecting more than one card per customer is not allowed.
