When will Nomad make Auxiliary Reports available for Income Tax filing?
Nomad voluntarily provides the Auxiliary Reports on time so you can file your return. We will notify all Nomad customers, whether they have open or closed accounts, via email once the reports are available.
You can view the documents by accessing the Nomad app at Profile > Documents > Income Tax.
Due to recent legislative changes regarding the taxation of foreign financial investments, Nomad will wait for the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service to release the 2025 Income Tax Return Program to make the Auxiliary Reports available. This measure aims to maximize the usefulness of the information provided, ensuring it aligns with the latest tax requirements.
It is important to note that the deadline for making Financial Income Reports available, until the last business day of February, does not apply to the Auxiliary Reports we provide.
We emphasize that Nomad does not provide any tax and fiscal advisory services, which is why it is recommended that investors consult a professional of their trust to assist in fulfilling their tax obligations. By using the Auxiliary Reports, the customer understands that Nomad is not responsible for any errors in the calculation and payment of applicable taxes on income and gains earned by the investor abroad, as well as in relation to DIRPF and reporting to the RFB of investments held in Nomad Accounts.
I don't recognize a charge from Uber or Uber Eats. What do I do?
Verify that this charge is the same amount as a canceled transaction that was previously canceled with the merchant.
Whenever a card is recently added or has not been used on Uber for several days, the next time it is used, the app starts charging with the title "UBR* PENDING.UBER.COM". Within 2 business days, this transaction is canceled and Uber's headquarters, located in San Francisco-CA, makes the final discount, which can be identified with the title "UBER *TRIP San FranciscoCAUS".
The same behavior occurs with Uber Eats.
It is important to note that this does not necessarily indicate that the trip occurred in San Francisco.
Therefore, we recommend that you check whether the unrecognized charge fits into this situation. In this case, it will be a charge due.
If this is a different situation, you can dispute the charge in the Nomad app by clicking on the undue charge on your statement and selecting the option Report a problem.
